A grilled prawn on a fork

Three boats land at the wharf below us every morning. Whatever they bring becomes the menu: oysters from the lease, prawns off the trawler, whole fish over charcoal.

Today's catch,landed at 5:40am.

The menu is written each morning from what the three boats bring in. When a fish is gone, it's gone.
